Helegaly Action Pi

Received a faulty unit. The screen shows a thick vertical line of stretched pixels along the far right side of the display. I’ve now discovered that this is a known fault of this particular device. It also suffers from very fast battery drain.

Have contacted Helegaly support with a return request via the email address provided on the website, but 2 days later I’m still waiting for a reply.

I was impressed with the feel when I held it in my hand.
The buttons and other controls were also very easy to use, so I'm glad I purchased it.

However, when I actually used it, I was unable to copy files from the network because ssh and smb are not enabled by default.
I was able to enable ssh by editing the ActionPi's config in the file manager, but I was unable to log in via ssh using the standard batocera password.
There seem to be many more issues, such as the SD card saves not mounting and fmsx being extremely slow.
Also, I'm not sure if this is because WiFi is enabled or a device malfunction, but the device gets abnormally hot and, despite having a large battery, it drains quickly.

These issues become apparent as you use ActionPi, so it's possible that there's a problem with my device.
I've contacted support about this, but haven't received a reply yet.
I'm not sure if support will be able to answer my questions, but I'll update this post if they do.
